I am Busy, Creating Magic!

Hey all, These week have been filled with teaching, writing and more writing.  Lacking on this blog of course.  I have found many new ways to enjoy myself here.  Each day brings me joy and each challenge gives me more strength to move forward in my journey.  I was able to witness a milestone for a little friend of mine.  Romeo.

Romeo and Mamma, Manon

This was his first time walking around the center and Manon wanted me to capture it.  When he would run to me from the other side of the piazze, I would lose it.  I would cry openly in public.  I felt as if he was my child walking for the first time.  We went into Piazza Signoria and after Romeo walked quickly to me, an older gentleman looked at both Manon and I and said "lui e un bravo ragazzo." with a soft smile.  Manon and I both said simultanously "Grazie!"  I then looked at Manon and said, I am pretty sure he thinks we are lesbians.  Hehe!

I have witnessed incredible beauty.  I drink it in like a wine bottle which is never empty.  There has been some great conversations, relationships that growing into something beautiful, there have been food that has tickled my palate and given me a reason to write so beautifully about such places that serve such food.  I am lucky to be able to live the way I do.  Appreciating every new step I take, meeting new and interesting people every day and being motivated by people that can see the passion radiating off of me when I walk into the door.

I have all that I need, all that I want, all that I desire.  If there is ever a time I want something more, I put it out into the Universe and it comes back tenfold.  I have always received what I have asked for in life.  I have faith, I have hope, I have Me.  Who knows what is best for Me.  No one else gives me the joy I supply every day to myself.  This is why what the Universe sent to me today was so poignant.

"The reason old souls enjoy spending time alone, Katie, is because they never really are.

Much love from your invisible friends,
    The Universe"

a presto amici!!

Oh Kate I leave for Florence tomorrow and already know I don't want to come back! Your blog has been amazing - and it has truly given me a great taste of Firenze before I get there! Perhaps I will pass you on the street and say hello!
