Summertime: Keeping cool with some brews in Malaysia

Summertime, how do you keep cool?  Cecil from Travel Feeder will regale us with his favorite thing that keeps him cool during the balming temps of Malaysia.

Welcome Cecil!!!

Beer – My best friend in Summer

It's again Summertime now! While people in the European countries with temperate and Mediterranean climate are facing hot sun in this period oftime, people here in South East Asia are also living in the hot, humid and stuffy climate through out the year. What could we do to cool down our body when we are traveling in these countries?

For me, my best buddy during Summertime especially on travel woulddefinitely be beer! I would love to have a pint or two of icy cold beerwhenever I travel. Strictly for travel only, beer could help me to coolme down a bit and also make me more relax to enjoy my Summertimeespecially on these occasions:

  1. On the beach - My best summertime activity is  certainly sunbathing on the beach while reading books. It would not be perfect without a bottle of bear next to me!
  2. At night during party time - Clubbing is my second to none activity at night in Summer. What else could I have to enjoy my party time all night long other than beers?
  3. On my meal - It could be appetizing to order a pint of lager to accompany my Fish and Chips in Summer.
  4. Before my concert - I love to fill my stomach with some beers before any concert and I'll be getting real high until the end of the concert.
  5. On the outdoor photo shooting - The best time of year to shoot photographs on travel destinations is Summer with plenty of sunlight and extended daytime. However, it can also be dehydrating. So whenever I feel hot on my outdoor photo shooting session in Summer, I'd love to energize my body with some icy cold beers!

However, if I'm not flying, whenever I feel hot in Malaysia (
thoughit's hot 365 days a year), I will drive up to either Gentinghighland or Cameron Highland to enjoy the cooler weather. Strangely tosay, it's great too to have a pint of beer to warm you up!
