Travel Challenge on what andhow to take photo in Italy

When asked on travelchallenges I have faced during my Italy travellast month, I immediately thought of photography. I can take otherchallenges during travel as part of my travel experience in Italy. However, being a hobbyist travel photographer, I couldn't miss any ofthose opportunities to capture the beautiful scenes of Italy. And mybiggest challenge is to figure out what and how to shoot them.

Italy is a beautiful country. Can't argue about it. There are toomany stunning picturesque scenes to capture at every corner in everycity. But I realised there are something and some places where visitorsare not allowed or not advisable to take photos. To name a few:

1) The famous Sistine Chapel is the only section in Vatican Museumwhere visitors are not allowed to take photo though you can take alongyour camera (which I don't understand why). If you want to capture theclassical Michelangelo's ceiling painting of 'Creation of God', you canstill do it silently and super fast before they stop you!

2) The original statue of the infamous David by Michelangelo ishoused within the Academia Gallery in Florence. Unfortunately, besidesof the long long queue to get in, visitors are also not allowed to takephoto of it. How you can capture the David? Get out of the gallery andhead over to Piazza Signoria where you can find a replica and shoot itin whatever angle you like!

3) After shooting it in the morning, the night view of Colleseum inRome is also marvellous! In order to capture both scenes at the sametime, try arrange your itinerary so that visiting Colleseum is your laststop of the day just before it close at 7pm. Once you get out of theColleseum, look for the best spot, set up your tripod and it's just niceto capture it at dusk!

4) There are many artists and painters on the streets of Florence. Becareful when you try to snap them. Some of them might get reallyfurious and chase you off! So, always ask for permission before yousnap, and

5) Don't take photos inside the airport terminal hall in Romeairport! I was 'invited' by the police to their office and asked todelete all photos taken in the airport. It could be only me. Accordingto them, visitors are not allowed to take photos of the airportinternal!
