Montespertoli and Kelly's B-Day

I am such a lucky person to have grand friends like Kelly and Iacopo.  I enjoyed the evening we spent together last night celebrated my cara amica Kelly.  I have known her for so long that I feel that we have known each other since birth.  Iacopo became a close friend back in 2005, on my excursion to Florence for the summer.  Basically I studied and ate everything in sight that summer.  And most importantly, I found many grand friends, like Iacopo.

The night was planned perfectly since I take the train to Livorno almost every day and there is a stop in Empoli(close to Montespertoli) I got off there last night and was greeted with open arms by two of my favorite people.

We ate like kings and filled our bellies with large amounts of wine and tiramisu and cake.  I woke up to silence in the country.  It was bliss.  It rained for a short while in the morning but then Kelly and I were off on a photography expedition.  Here are some of my favorite shots:

vineyards you can see for miles and miles.

The studio and house.

It was muddy, but so much fun.

My shadow.  Glad I found it!

old grapes

among the hills of Toscana...ahhh blissful

follow the vines.

Soon to be Kelly's new car.

getting the perfect shot. We are professionals.

where did he go?

peek-a-boo, eccolo!

What a great day, thanks guys!

a presto amici!
