A Sunday in Florence

Today was a glorious day.  The sun was shining everywhere.  I felt alive.  I decided to take a walk with amore mio.  I caught myself smiling as I strolled hand and hand with my love...   Amore, you gave me a great bit of energy to start the week.  Grazie tanto!!

Piazza Sant' Ambrogio

Two glasses of wine, all alone.

An evening with friends
Duomo from Sant'Ambrogio
The secret bakery that only operates at night.
Waiting at the station
I was waiting for this door to open.  Unfortunately it didn't.

The Duomo
A little puppy ready for Carnevale

Palazzo Vecchio suntanning in February.

San Marco bustling with Sunday traffic.

Sunset on Via Filippo Stozzi.

Rolling hills of Florence behind my house.

Oh, how I love pictures of amore mio

Alla prossima......

a presto amici!!

I loved this one Katie...especially Sant Ambrogio photos. I think everyone has "their" piazza here and Sant A is mine, or at least was all last year. I love that feeling of sitting outside the bar,(on the church steps)with a glass of wine and watching everyone pass. You capture it!!

Hey - nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I'm currently using Wordpress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
