My Walks

I try to, once a day, to take a walk.  Let it be in the center or in my neighborhood around Statuto.  I have been intrigued by this one street right off of Via Vittorio Emanuele.  It is a long road that is a bit of a hike up hill.  But since living in Fiesole, hills don't bother me one bit.  They are more like a challenge, a way to conquer something that is going on my life.  Once I reach the top, I see this:

during the day
and at night

The other day I wandering up to the Museo Stibbert, finally after always wondering what this museo was all about.  I went around 3pm, it was a time I needed to turn the computer off and enjoy living in Florence.  I climbed up the hill and was excited to see the park gates were open for me to explore.  When I was a child I was always wondering around my backyard.  Searching for new treasures my backyard had to offer.  I felt like my 7 year old self as I entered the park.  There were a few other people meandering, but I was the only one capturing the essence of this park.

Here are some of my treasures...

leaves are changing, Fall has arrived in Florence

It was a nice, cool brisk day.  No need to wear gloves.

The sun was shining through the trees and warming the earth around me.
I found magnificent artifacts...

a sad woman...

I caught a glimpse of Fiesole peeking down at me Silly Fiesole..I see you!

I met a new cuddly friend too.  She came out of a large bush and jumped on this statue as to say
"Hey, hey! look at me"  she is purdy, ain't she??  I miss my kittens!!!!

More fotos from my trip to Museo Stibbert domani....

a presto amici

Museo Stibbert looks like a beautiful place. If I ever travel to Florence (which I hope I will) I will keep that museum in mind.

By the way, walking at least once a day is a great habit that I would recommend to anyone.
