A Relaxing Sunday
The great thing about living in Florence is that there are many parks to choose from to enjoy a lazy day. Being that this week everyone in my neighborhood has disappeared to the seaside because Ferragosto is upon us, I have decided to explore my neighborhood a little more. I wanted to sit in a park, it struck me this morning. I want to focus on ME and my life here now. Once September hits I will not have as much time to do these types of things. I ventured to the Giardino dell'Orticoltura which is just about 10 minutes from my home. I brought a frozen bottle of water and my iPod with some easylistening compliments of Dave Matthews and the motivating lyrics of Idina Menzel. I wanted to write a bit but alas I forgot a pen. A writer forgetting a pen, how stupid of me. 
I didn't forget my camera though. Here are some of my shots on this relaxing Sunday in August.

Good for you! I knew you'd make it and there you are, living your dream. It gives me hope that some day I will be in Italy for a long time!
