From Sunrise to Sunset

Today I woke up at 4am.  I drove to Bodyflow across town and woke my body up in the best way.  Smiling through class, I knew it was going to be a fabulous day.  As I drove home after my class at 6:30 am, I was lucky enough to watch the sun rise over the tops of the homes surrounding me.  Singing at the top of my lungs to Maroon 5's 'If I never see your face again', It brought me to another that this really was going to be a GREAT day.

I arrived home worked more on my piece due tomorrow(eek).  Then worked Bodyflow, until my next class at 9:15.  Taught it with grace and ease.  Felt my heart smile as I received smiles from the members who enjoyed the release and stretch with me.

Arrived home again, working more diligently on my piece still due tomorrow (double eek).  I worked on perfecting some moves for my class in my slightly narrow mirror leaning up against my wall.  Shower time.  Brought my boombox (yes I still have one) cranked up some Sting and sang in the shower to my heart's desire.

Calmly waiting for my phone interview at 1pm, I tweeted a bit, facebooked, and again read over my piece some more and then had to walk away from it.

PHONE INTERVIEW  1:00pm

For a job that I so desperately need because I quit my other temp job, because it was draining my soul.  So I took a big step and told them I couldn't handle the job and needed to leave.  It was boring, I sat there for 6 hours a day doing tiny little things that took me two seconds to do.  Efficient Katie, they called me.  Dogs peed on the carpet, children of the owner played, screamed, and asked me when I was going to leave because apparently the computer I was on, was hers.  She is 6.

Anyways back to the new job...well...because I feel so strongly about this.  I will not discuss the details.  Don't want to jinx it, ya know?  All I will say is PLEASE I ask you, correction, I BEG you to pray for me, think positively for me, ANYTHING to push the Universe to pick this job for me.  Because gosh darn it, I deserve it!  THANK YOU ALL!!!

I will hear back Monday to see if I am still in the running.  Be in touch.

Back to my fabulous day...

4 pm came around and I gathered my Bodyflow gear, wristband, ipod, mat, forgot my water and headed to my last and final class of the day.  7 people were kind enough to join me and indeed it was worth it.  Love beginning and ending the day with Bodyflow, truly is my favorite pastime(sorry soccer).  Ended the class with 'Namaste', a smile, and off I went out the doors.  Then what did I see to the west.  You guessed it!  The Sunset.  sigh.  I had a skip in my step and smile on my face.  I actually did it.  Witnessed the Sunrise and the Sunset.  Can't wait to do it again!   Spring is arriving, New beginnings are upon me.

a presto amici!

Today's Sunset was prettier, but I like this Sunrise as well

Wow, being up for both reminds me of a tenting trip I went on across the alps.

The tent was so thin that the first bit of light woke me up, loved it though, seeing sunrise and set.

Also gives you that feeling that you have really used the day to the full, not wasted any of it. A truly great feeling. I miss it - I woke up at half 11am this morning and really wish I had got up earlier!
