Greetings, were you able to get Italian citizenship through your nonna?
I looked into that, but it seems only through paternal lines and my grandfather (and subsequently my father at birth) became a naturalized citizen of the US.
If you were able, would you please just steer me in the right direction? I would love to have dual citizenship and honor my Italian ancestors.

While doing research with the Italion immigration or re-absorption of those who are of Italian lineage, if I am not mistaken you most certainly are eligible for dual citizenship--don't quote me because I have forgotten--i was searching for a place to live if Obama didn't win the presidency--since I am Cuban I am entitled to citizenship there via my grandfather's side, I have no Italian lineage--so that killed that idea..lol
