Be patient with your dreams
"You must be patient", Piero Antinori explains about wine making, "And to wait until the wine is good enough, the vines are old enough to produce a good wine".
Exactly.
I must be patient because if I try to force anything, it will go awry. As much as I did push back and forth of living in Florence and not living there, I knew all along that was where I wanted to be. And just like the Marchese Antinori said, I realized how much I am not being a patient person. I know I will be in Florence when the Brits get back to me and when I finally have a job, stable enough to be comfortable. I know the apartment I have always wanted in Florence will appear out of thin air. I know it is there for me, waiting amongst the historic cobblestones. I think the hardest part is finding more income to get me there with less worry and stress. As the Universe must deal with the 'hows' that sting us like an angry bee, the bee is reluctant to prove to us that this is what you truly want for yourself. It seems to ask. I have been asked here and there for some writing opportunities and am EVER grateful! This is the beginning of my rise as a successful Travel Writer. And the very beginning of my journey in becoming a teacher.
Patience.
It can't happen overnight, my mom says, true. I must be patient. I must keep sending my thoughts of successful writing adventures to the Universe, who is in fact always listening.

Patience, located on a tombstone in Rome.

I've heard before that 'we must have a big enough WHY for our HOW to work'. I really think your WHY is huge...b/c you love it so much and know it's where your heart is. so I also know that your HOW will work itself out

Erin, Yeah I heard that too. I think it is the WHY doesn't have to be as big. If you will it, it isn't a dream, I believe

I think the toughest part of being patient is keeping ourselves believe that we WILL acheive the dream in the end. But with your determination, you surely will. And, if things are meant to be, they always find away of happening eventually...

Yes I agree. Keeping busy and not thinking about helps too. Thanks for the comment!

Yes, it's so hard to be patient when you want something so badly, isn't it? I totally relate to your post, and sometimes wish I could have more patience.
But I believe in faith - if you want something bad enough, and believe in it, you will achieve it. Just with a lil patience...
Anyway thanks Kate for the comment on my blog! I'll love to write a guest post for you, and definitely love for you to write one if you're keen. I'll drop you a mail shortly.
Arrivederci!
