My last match in Florence was in 2002, when the women paid 1 Euro and the men paid 22 Euro.  This time was similar I paid 27 Euro, and the men who accompanied me paid 35 EURO!!!  Can you believe it?  I am just glad I am woman, I am able to watch my favorite game cheaper.  I attended this match with my ragazzo and his cousin and brother who took the overnight train up to Firenze just to see this game.  OH BTW, they are Juventus fans.  :/  I was taking pictures like these and began getting stares from the fan sitting directly behind me.

we were pretty close although we had to get up and stretch our necks to see the corner at the other end.

I switched to taking more pictures of Fiorentina at the half.  where is the ball, really? I can't see it.

Buffon is ready for anything.  That man is very VERY tall! 

Overall I enjoyed myself even if I wanted them to do penalty kicks.  The ending score was 1-1.  Fiorentina scored right before the 2nd half was over.  I was waiting as the team departed the field, I was clapping and I then felt a hand grab mine, "la partita ha finito, andiamo"(the game is over, let's go).  It was the first time I wanted to see penalty kicks, not like when my brother's team was always doing penalty kicks back in High School.  I wanted to see Buffon moving a bit more.
