A ride to the Consulate

Today I thought still had my temp job but apparently they hired someone else.  I walked in this morning and my boss looked at me and said, "Ohh this is awkward."

I told him 'no worries' I figured that was what HR would have done.  4 days left at that job would have been a waste.  Alas it has given me a whole week and an a half to get ready to pack(once more) for Florence.

So with all these days off I can move my trip to the Consulate up a week.  I am going to be there tomorrow checking on my application process, requesting some information about my application, and asking for a letter stating I applied for citizenship on such and such a date.  Just as a safety net when I am in Italy, in case I am stopped and asked to show papers.  I am confident, happy and excited to see my friend the security guard that remembers me every time I arrive(mmm I keep forgetting his, oopps).

Well friends, wish me luck. OH heck I don't need luck, send me shoes. HAHA!  kidding!

a presto
