Soulmate part 2

I believe I discussed with you all about my soulmate, Francesca, if not I will blog about her again soon.  Here is my second life long friend I have found...

"EVVIVA!" Laura rejoiced after hearing that I was coming back to Firenze for a month.

"I wait for until you will arrive here on April!" she emailed a month before I arrived.  Laura and I met through Language Tandem.  A website that encourages language exchange amongst English, Spanish, Italian, French speakers, just about any language actually.  I have met many friends from this site and recommends it to anyone that wants to keep up their second language and also meet some new friends.  PS: This website is based out of Firenze, so you must go there to meet these fantastic friends.  Just more of an incentive to travel, right?

OK back to my great friend Laura, here she is...

We got along from the moment we met in person.  She has this energy about her that I suck up like a delicious granita.  For our first get together, we went to get some coffee in a local cafe in the center.  Very Italian of us...haha!  We then headed towards a nice little lingerie store.  Ok well I remember her saying that her bra broke the night before dancing up a storm at a club, but I must have thought she was joking about actually shopping for one with me.  Alas we connected right off the bat, so why not go shopping for a nice black bra with a close friend, I do it all the time.

We find a spot in Piazza Repubblica near the venders and talked for over an hour, about everything.  I am in awe by the fact that we both seem to be so succinct with each other.  Over Skype a few months back I knew this girl was special, and go figure, I was right!  Mi manchi Laura bella!  Ci vediamo piu presto!!

a presto

I've always wondered about that website. I picked up a flyer for it months ago...so now I'll definitely have to check it out.
