Bob, Davide, Simo....I have too many friends here.

Ok on Saturday I really wanted to just hang out and do nothing but alas that did not happen.  Simo and his girlfriend Giuselle invited me to dinner.  We went to  Trattoria dal Trebbio.  I reconnected once again with Simo.  It was yet another link to our friendship.  I enjoyed visiting with Giuselle because she a doll.  She wants me really to stay.  Yet another friend attached to Firenze.

I then on Sunday, I spent the most of the day at V's house relaxing eating pasta and mapping out the things I want to see or research more.

Monday I went to the Orto Botanico and listened to the hand held guide like a true tourist.  HA!  It was very interesting.  I wrote down some key points but all in all, it is a place to enjoy an afternoon read in the Florentine sun.  My hope is to get most of my touring done this week and next.

After that, I was going to San Marco Museo but there was too many tourists.  So I instead called Simone at the Villa in Fiesole and went up to meet Bob for lunch.  We ate at the Etrusca and it was great to see Bob again.  6 years I have know this frisky little man, he is truly a great friend.

As the afternoon approached, Davide arrived on Via Pier Capponi and drove me to his fabulous little abode in Scandicci.  How grateful am I?

a presto

Ha! Small world! You went to Trattoria del Trebbio! I know that restaurant... I stayed right next door to it once, in a hotel there.
